They are fantastic guitars. I prefer the American to the Tributes, but the Tributes are quite a bit better then my MIM Tele. What type of sound are you going for, G&L has a pretty big Tribute range currently. The Semi Hollow bodies tend to be the best bang for your buck on the Tributes IMHO.
